Project Overview
We are requesting approval to construct 150 wind turbines on 20,212 acres of land in Bingham County.
Each turbine will have the ability to generate between one and three megawatts of electricity. The total generating capacity of the facility will be up to 450 megawatts. One megawatt will provide enough power for up to 650 homes.
The project will use mostly existing roads. Some new roadway construction will be required, mostly branching from existing roads to turbine locations.
If approval is granted, construction will begin as soon as 2009.
